Sagström’s enjoyed a remarkable career that began at a young age, growing up in a sports-oriented family. She discovered her passion for golf at the Enköping Golf Club in Sweden and as an amateur showcased her talent by winning the 2009 Swedish Junior Stroke-play Championship.

Her golfing journey continued at Louisiana State University, where she excelled and was named the 2015 SEC Player of the Year. In 2015, she made her professional debut at the Helsingborg Open on the Ladies European Tour. She also won three times in 2016 on the Symetra Tour, the official developmental golf tour of the LPGA Tour.

In 2020, she took that extra step and clinched her first LPGA Tour victory at the Gainbridge LPGA, setting a course record and becoming the 12th Swedish player to win on the Tour. Last year saw more of the same from the 30-year-old as she continued to shine with several top ten finishes and an impressive performance at the Women’s British Open, where she tied for second place.
