Hedwall’s journey in golf began at the age of eight when she started playing in Täby, Sweden. Later, her family moved to Löddeköpinge, where she represented Barsebäck Golf & Country Club where her passion for the game also extended to her twin sister, Jacqueline, who also played collegiate golf in the United States.

As an amateur, Hedwall showcased her dominance by winning several prestigious titles such as the European Ladies Amateur Championship. Then, in 2013, Hedwall made history by becoming the first player to win five matches in a single Solheim Cup event. She played a pivotal role in leading Team Europe to their first win on American soil.

Her solo professional career has also been a huge success to date with a total of 16 worldwide wins to her name, with seven of those coming on the Ladies European Tour. From her early triumphs at the New South Wales Open and Allianz Ladies Slovak Open, to her more recent victories in France and Spain, Hedwall has consistently proven herself as a formidable force in the women’s game.
